Enjoy Winter (safely)

Author After a very short Fall the winter chill is upon us. To date there hasn’t been much snow, but after a couple of attempts the lake froze over on November 29th. The ice isn’t thick enough to be safe for use just yet, but if the cold temperatures persist the shoreline areas should be safe for limited activity by Christmas. Be sure to check the ice thickness before venturing too far. Check with the snowmobile club for winter activities and trail maps. (http://greenlakesnowmobileclub.ca/)
